On October 2-4, 2013 the Radio and Television Commission of Lithuania hosted the 38th meeting of European Platform of Regulatory Authorities (hereinafter EPRA) in Vilnius. 167 delegates from 45 countries took part in the conference. This was the first conference of the authorities regulating the commercial audiovisual media of such scale ever held in Lithuania and the most numerous in the history of EPRA itself. It was also a part of the programme of events, dedicated to Lithuania’s presidency over the EU Council.
The main topics focussed on supervising VOD services, political communication, local and community media, spectrum (700 MHz band) and plurality in an online environment.
On that occasion the Radio and Television Commission published a brochure on the Audiovisual Landscape in Lithuania.
